Encoding
Recording information on to a magnetic stripe. Encoding is the process of programming the magnetic stripe to go with your machine so that when you receive your cards it will work and the cards will function the way you would like them to function. On a magnetic stripe there are four tracks that you can encode on, track 1, 2, 3 and 4 with tracks 1 and 2 being the most common. In order to encode your cards correctly we will need to know what track to encode on and what numbering sequence to start and end the encoding at. If you require random data to be encoded, then we will need an excel or text file with the data to be encoded.
Foil stamping uses heat and metallic film to produce a shiny design. Foiling can be done in silver or gold on a frosted or gloss finish. We cannot do foiling on a matte finish. Foil stamping adds a unique touch that can bring out your name or logo. Foil stamping adds a shine to your card that will catch anyone’s attention.
